Or is it a do as I say? Not as I do sort of scenario? Because as a personal brand, as a purposeful powerhouse CEO, I think we almost have an ingrained responsibility to really know our core values and live into them in the work that we do. And maybe it's not a responsibility. Maybe it's an opportunity, right? I don't know about you, but I didn't realize that entrepreneurship is like these super fast train of personal development or this school that I didn't know that I needed.

But here I guess I'm signed up for it and I'm all in now because this is one of those things, right? Is that when you are putting yourself out there on social media with your clients, there's a deep vulnerability. And I believe that in order to be in integrity and in alignment with that, it's a matter of first and foremost knowing what's really important to you and making sure that that is a priority so that it is something that is the way that you live, the way that you show up, that is a non-negotiable, that it's become so important to you that likely you're teaching other people to do it, or you are at least

encouraging them, at least having conversations about it. And so this might be, you know, mindfulness on social media. This might be maintaining your website, this might be me having a morning routine that you love and you look forward to. But it's those things that the way you are really showing up for yourself really will have a direct impact in the way that you are able to show up for your clients.

And really, are you leading by example by making sure that you are checking those boxes yourself and not compromising on them? Right. And so that's what I wanted to talk about today. We're going to dive into core values. We're going to look at how we can begin to make it part of your routines and your rituals and lots more.

So I'll tell you what really took me to this place of really valuing integrity in myself was surprise, surprise, when I felt completely out of integrity. So you may have heard this part of my story, whereas a few years ago I was really giving and giving into my business. I was supporting somebody else. And as such I was completely drained.

I was burnt out, I was resentful. I was ready to throw in the towel yet again. And there I was every morning. I was so tired that I literally would just get my yoga mat. I would drag it outside and I would just lay on my lanai on my patio and just cry. And I'm all about crying. I think it's very important.

It's very freeing for emotion, and all emotions deserve to be felt. But the reality of what was happening was that because I was so depleted and I was so exhausted, I was hearing a lot of the stories of my saboteurs in my head of saying, Oh, well, it's some kind of personal trainer. You are you don't even exercise.

Oh, well, way to be an amazing yoga teacher. You don't even do yoga. You lay there. And that is what my brain was saying to me. And it was causing a lot of internal friction and resistance. And so what it really encouraged is that I was willing to recognize what was happening and see the patterns that were happening in my life and to be able to pause and take a soft look.

It's really easy when we're sat, when we're hijacked by our saboteurs or in that stressed state of our brain and that inner dialog, it's negative and nasty and guilting and shaming, which is what it was doing at that point, because that's the mechanism of the saboteurs, particularly the judge. Right. And so what was happening was that it was it was causing the spiral to get even deeper and even more ingrained.

And so what I did was chose to took a softer look. But when we look through the eyes of the heart, we look with softness and compassion. Whereas when we're in that critical mind of the judges centers, it was harsh and it was nasty. And so what I recognized was that I felt out of integrity, and that's why it was causing even more friction, because that is one of my core values, integrity, doing what I say when I'm saying I'm going to do it right.

And so a core value is defined as a personal ethic or an ideal that guide you in making decisions, building relationships and solving problems. And so for me, because integrity, growth, playfulness, spirituality are all core values of mine, I wasn't able to be living into those and expressing those. And so it was causing even more internal resistance, even more internal friction, and thereby causing me more stress.

So this is what we're really going to lean into today because you whatever you're doing it right, you may be somebody who's in health wellness, you may be somebody who does social media, coaches, consultants, your personal brand, your thought leader. It's so important to look at how are you leading yourself, how are you prioritizing yourself so that you can prioritize the values, so that you can prioritize the impact that you are here to make because you're able to stay in that place of intentionality with the way that you're showing up, not just the way you're showing up on social media, but the way you're showing up for yourself, first and foremost, because you are the

driving force, full stop period at the end, you are the driving force in your life. Aside from so energy, which is of course the collaborative force. But when we're talking about your actions, it's you boot, it's you. And so you might be leading a movement, right? Like me, I'm leading the Rise and Vibe movement, helping other entrepreneurs that care so much about how they feel to show up for themself daily.

So that they can live their purpose. They can go out and make the impact and generate the income and have the beautiful ripple effect, right, Because you are the driving force. So that's the movement that I'm leading. And when I am in alignment with that and I am showing up for myself and I am leading from that place of example, damn, it feels good.

But when I am compromising myself and I am trying to force things, it feels like I am pushing a massive boulder uphill. It just feels so hard and so difficult and out of alignment. There's a lot of that in a resistance. So ask yourself that. Are you leading a movement? How do you want to show up when you are leading that movement?

And if you're not, that's okay, right? That's not everybody. But the way that you want to show up on your social media, what sort of energy are you putting out there in the world? Because the truth is, is that when you are not practicing what you teach, when it comes to showing up for yourself, it shows we can't fake our frequency and people get a sense for that.

And so that's really important. And so when you are encouraging your clients or your community to make time for themselves to slow down by doing that yourself, then you are leading by example, right? You're leading by example because the way that you're filling up your cup allows you to pour into them. And the interesting thing is, is that when you are able to show that you're living in alignment with your core values and the way that you're showing up, it gives other people permission to do the same thing.

It gives people that ability to see that you really care about what you're doing because you care about yourself. And of course, I'm talking about this from the perspective of self care, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, self care. But this can come to everything else, right? If you're a social media coach and you are not spending time on social media, then there's a disconnect, right?

So I want you to look at the way that you are really just making time and space for these. And so that's the first question is, is what are your core values? Right? What is really, really important to you in the work that you're doing? And so for sometimes for some people as a personal brand in particular, I find that these overlap quite a bit for your business values.

So for me, I mentioned my values are learning or growth, integrity, authenticity, playfulness, the ability to serve and make an impact. Abundant spirituality. And so these are mine as a human, but then they are very similar because those are the same for my business vitality, wellness, because what I get to do by sharing my passion and as my profession, they very much overlap.

But that might not be the same for you, right? So I want you to take a look at that. A gentle look, because when it comes down to these core values and the way that you are expressing yourself, it's one of the things that we want to start to recognize that if you care about the the growth of your business and being able to continue that, if you care about how you feel and the way you show up and you want to provide a very high impactful level of service, then what are you doing to make sure that that's happening in your life?

Because these are the little things that we want to make part of your life, your rituals, your routines, and make them into non-negotiables. Because when things get crazy and life is really busy and there's a lot going on, right? Maybe there's externally stressful situations internally, you know, maybe you're making big decisions, what have you. It can be really easy for us to compromise the things that we know, help us to stay grounded and stay steady.

Because when you have these as your anchors, when you care about living a happy and healthy life or whatever it is for you, then you will not allow that to be something that flies out the window when things get crazy. This becomes the foundational pillars of your life and your self. Therefore, your business made especially as a personal brand.

So we want to look at these things because when things get stressful, when the saboteur is right, the the inner patterns of self conscious of self-sabotage, of subconscious self-sabotage tend to kick in. These are typically the things that, you know, really serve you and support you as a human that are aligned with your values in the way you want to show up for yourself so that you can show up are typically the first ones to go flying after we go.

Right. And so that's, you know, the kind of ironic thing. But what I want you to do is look at like, what helps you to cultivate the value of learning. Okay. So maybe that is doing challenges, maybe it's reading books, maybe it's whatever. And we want to begin to make those activities non-negotiable as second nature as brushing your teeth because they are the fuel to allow you to have sustained energy and focus because you are taking care of.

Right. We we want to make sure that we are self nurturing and self serving because self-care or whatever you're doing, maybe it's the learning, maybe it's the investing, whatever it is that's important to you, that is supporting you today and tomorrow and the day after. It supports the sustainability of your business growth, of your business success. And so we want to make sure that whatever it is that you're going to do that takes you to that place of alignment with your values.

It's something that you enjoy. It's something that you prioritize, right? So for me, with the Rise of Five Movement, I help people to prioritize themself through their amplified morning routine, their amplified morning routine that gets them in alignment with their vision, that moves their body, that helps to rewire their system on a deep, deep, deep nervous system and subconscious level.

So that becomes the foundation for everything. And because that's a value is prioritizing themselves, being of service to themselves, then they make it a non-negotiable in a way that works. And we don't want to have this be a hard and fast rule because that's where many of us, myself included, tend to be a bit of a hyper TV perfectionist.

And if we don't do it perfectly, then what's the point at all? And that's simply not true, right? So, for example, in that case, when my community members in the rise of my movement only have a little bit of time, then they do a shorter routine. 5 minutes is way better than nothing. And so if your core value is learning, for example, reading for 5 minutes or, you know, exploring something, looking up some definitions, whatever it is, then that's actually far more beneficial to the service of you living in integrity with your values and expressing them fully in your life and your business than just saying, We're not going to do it today.

What's the point? I can't do it. And so the first question is what are your core values? Are the same for you and for your business? And then the second question is how can you live into these? Right? And so we talked about that, about finding ways that you can express these in your life. How can you make them part of your daily routine and how can you really give yourself the space and the grace when things get derailed and then you come back?

And so if the answer is yes, I am living into these fully, how can you weave them in even more? Right? Or if you if you look at this and you're thinking, am I living into these right now? Do I really know what my core values are? And do I see how they are expressed in my life, in my work, my show up in the way I show up?

Well, if if you're not living into them right now, that's great. It's create awareness. Right? And so then we want to look at, okay, well, how can we begin to integrate these into your life so that they are where you move from and you are truly, fully, deeply anchored in that? Because when you anchor in that and you have that knowing, you create that expression within yourself, you're creating safety within your nervous system.

You're allowing yourself to nurture at a deep level so that you can continue to live into these values in the work that you're doing. And so, you know, it is really important that we learn to give ourselves grace in these situations because, you know, sometimes we don't know what we don't know. And then maybe you can realize that this is something that might have caused this internal friction.

Or maybe you're feeling you've noticed that you feel that sense of disappointment or greediness within yourself, that you're like, Oh, I really want to be doing this better. I want to be doing this more. And then we feel like we're letting herself down because we're not doing it to the level we said we're going to do, or we just haven't started yet.

And it's it's all good. It's really a matter of growth and learning and that commitment to the vision that you have for your life and your business and the version of you that it's inviting you to become and what it's asking of you. And so if you think about what you have for your vision, maybe it's for this upcoming quarter or this year or what have you, what is that need from you?

How does it call you to show up? And so we want to look at that because that sense of commitment and that's where integrity comes in, right? As I said, I'm going to do it and I'm going to do it when nobody's looking at my still doing that or I'm over here scrolling on social media. So really leaning into that and and living from that place and having that as your intention so that you are the full expression of that version of you as you become an even more fully right.

And so that's that's it is is knowing where we're headed. It's the piece of of the what the vision is calling from you and of you and what aligns to that in this version of you now. And so how can we begin to take these steps forward and trust that it's not an overnight process? Right. And but it's it's that decisions and all of these little steps add up and they all matter and they all count.

And so you can begin to notice. That's where a lot of resistance comes from, is if we we set maybe, for example, like, you know, we said something that we were short, we were tired, we were cranky, we were hungry and we didn't mean it. And if one of your core values is to be kind and compassionate, well, that's where the the friction comes from, Right.

And so a lot of times where we're when we're struggling in the work that we're doing, we're overdoing it. We're pushing too hard. We're going against those natural ways of being that are super important to you. So we want to really make sure that especially when it comes to the activities that support you in these core values, that anchor you into them.

So whether that is health and happiness or whatever it is that you're choosing, we want to find a way to prioritize them. How can you make them part of your non-negotiables so that you're living by that really high quality example for yourself? You're fully, you know, many people say it in binary embodying your future self. So how can we begin to live as that version of you now and make these things that really anchor you into that a non-negotiable?

Right? And so that's where, you know, for me, I've realized for myself and many other people, that's why the morning routine is so important, because we do it first. We get it done right. It sets the tone for the day. It really creates this cascade and this ripple effect, because in that way you're anchored in a sense of deep connection and a sense of presence.

You're feeling confident, you're feeling clear headed, you're feeling energized, you're feeling refreshed. And so that sense of commitment and dedication and integrity is there. So how can you begin to weave this into your life, whatever activities you're choosing that help you to live and to your values and make them part of your daily, weekly rituals so that you're constantly reconnecting to that and you're constantly re-inspired by it, right?

Because it's so important to have that touchpoint so that you're feeling that sense of electricity and opportunity and knowing that, you know, you're really fully living from this place of possibility and potential and purpose. So I wanted to share that with you today. And so that's where, you know, having something that is a solid base to the way that you are showing up in your business, and especially as someone who is a service provider, a personal brand, that's where this all really ties in.

And so that's why inside the work that I do, inside the toolset that I use, that I call the Mindful Strength method, having this amplified morning routine is absolutely the foundation for everything because it truly gives you that anchor. It allows you to decide who and how you're going to show up, anchor yourself into what you're co-creating with your vision, with your goals, who the version of you that you are really wanting to show up as and truly be, and ultimately become who that is and how can you really connect to that and fully express that and anchor into that through your intentions?

And so that's really the baseline that we start from, and that is the essence of the Rise and Vibe movement is showing up for yourself so that you can show up and do all of the magical, wonderful things that you do in a way that's sustainable and enjoyable and nourishing because it's not depleting you because you have it within you to give.
