Speaker 1
Hello. Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Purposeful Powerhouse podcast. Today we are going to be talking about something that maybe you don't think about very often, but today we're going to be thinking about it, your brain, and how you can begin to rewire it to align with your big vision and lead you. I mean, fast track you to the inevitable success that you are on your way to bring into life.
00:00:29:16 - 00:00:33:18
Speaker 1
So I have a special guest with me today. Mandy, how are you?
00:00:34:00 - 00:00:51:23
Speaker 2
So well, Megan, I am truly, truly honored to be here. Thank you so much. It is a privilege to be in front of other people's communities. I know how dearly you hold that. Your people so close. So thank you for inviting me here today so we can make some magic together.
00:00:52:15 - 00:01:20:03
Speaker 1
Yay! I love that idea. Well, you're so welcome. And I'm excited to make magic, so. Yeah, let's get into that so people can read all about your incredible bio in the show notes. So we're not going to do that. What I want to do is start us off by having you give us a little glimpse, take us to a moment in your life when maybe you realized things weren't working for you or that there was a different path for you that really led you to the work that you're doing today and how that helps you to live your purpose.
00:01:20:11 - 00:01:59:14
Speaker 2
Absolutely. It's very easy. Boom, I'm there. And I had a very successful career in sales, led a large team, was a top seller for many, many, many years, like all the things. And I believe weaved that rest was lazy. So I was just constantly going well. In 2015, my company closed my division and I had this moment to pause and realized this limiting belief, which I didn't even know I had because I was just always go, go, go.
00:02:00:12 - 00:02:23:03
Speaker 2
And I knew there could be a better way, but I really didn't know what that would look like. And that moment that I had, that epiphany, that this was a limiting belief, rest was lazy. Simultaneously, I was deepening my spirituality. I was digging into all things brain. I was asking myself, What do you want to do next? Like you can do anything you want.
00:02:23:12 - 00:03:05:02
Speaker 2
And it was this perfect storm that showed me how successful, much more successful I could be when I tapped into my subconscious. At a subconscious and released some of the B.S. that absolutely holds us hostage. Rest is lazy. What kind of insanity is that right. Like and that. That was it. Like, that was that was the epiphany. And put me on a course of again, all things brain, all things neuroscience habits like how to tap into that, how to shift out of it, how to show up like the human that you want to be.
00:03:05:12 - 00:03:27:29
Speaker 2
And I had taught, coached, mentored my entire adult life. And so that was a really simple sort of pivot into, okay, let's, let's start getting deeper in this and let's start really serving humans who are like having this issue and don't even realize it, right? Like you don't even know that they can tap into their subconscious and get rid of some of that stuff that is keeping them from everything they want.
00:03:28:17 - 00:03:48:27
Speaker 1
Mm. Beautiful. Well, I'm so grateful that you had that realization. I know. It's so funny that when we start to look at these things from a different vantage point, like, this is lazy. I mean, hello, how are we going to keep going? You know, you're not some sort of, like, unstoppable, inexhaustible being. You're a human and you need to rest.
00:03:48:27 - 00:03:54:16
Speaker 1
And I mean, of course you can go fast and far. You're like a Tesla, but Teslas have to get plugged in to help you.
00:03:56:02 - 00:04:23:02
Speaker 2
Exactly. Exactly. And it was just it wasn't even as insidious in the beginning as it really ended up being, because I was completely burned out and not realizing what why. Right? Like this is just how it is. You just continue to go on the hamster wheel. I made money like all the things, right? But the moment I disconnected that, my health got so much better, things just became so much more clear, right?
00:04:23:04 - 00:04:30:04
Speaker 2
My perspective shifted so greatly that I was able to truly step into my limitlessness.
00:04:30:08 - 00:04:49:29
Speaker 1
I love that. And that's interesting. Yeah, because the thing is, is on this show and in my community, we call those little habits of self-sabotage and the voices that say those really insidious, ridiculous things. We call them the shitty committee because they just talk a lot of shit and they make you feel like poop and they don't really do much other than hold you back.
00:04:49:29 - 00:05:09:20
Speaker 1
So yeah, they need a silly name. So let's talk a little bit about that. Let's talk about maybe as we begin to bring awareness to this, which is what it's all about. Right, that non-judgmental awareness and observation, how can people start to begin to recognize those, quote unquote, limiting beliefs that we hear so much about?
00:05:10:00 - 00:05:38:22
Speaker 2
Absolutely. So I love that you're offering like let's get curious, but there is no judgment here. There's no there's no room for it. And if you spend your energy on judgment and shame and guilt, like there won't be any energy left to live right if we're giving it all to that, the first place I like to point people is you can recognize a limiting belief by a habit that you've got that all of a sudden you're like, Does this really serve?
00:05:38:28 - 00:06:04:24
Speaker 2
Like, Why do I do this? What makes me scroll on my phone for hours when really like, I really do have other things that I would like to be doing and yet here I am again or what makes me. And then you recognize a habit that's no longer serving you. And you can start small. You can also say What keeps me from if you.
00:06:04:24 - 00:06:26:02
Speaker 2
A lot of times I'll use an example of drinking water and we'll come back to the water example because it's so simple. Well, what. What keeps me from drinking more water? Yeah, exactly as we. Cheers. Who keeps me from drinking more water? Well, that's a really easy place to go, then. I hate water. I can't tell you how many people have said to me.
00:06:26:03 - 00:06:45:25
Speaker 2
I hate water in a huge economy. When did you decide you hated water? Like, what's going on there? Let's let's get curious about that. So really tap into and the bigger question is, who am I being like? Who am I being right now when I do this thing or don't do this thing? And who would I like to be?
00:06:45:26 - 00:06:49:10
Speaker 2
And there the limiting beliefs start to bubble up. You can see.
00:06:50:02 - 00:07:15:02
Speaker 1
Them. I love that. And it's so aligned with the vision of this show. Is to be able to bring more awareness to our life so that we can be intentional about who we would like to be and really what that means and how that feels, right? Because that's so, so integral to us being able to not only create a new habit, but actually go a lot deeper and begin to rewire.
00:07:15:02 - 00:07:44:01
Speaker 1
And because we hear so much about mindset, oh, I need a positive mindset, mindset, mindset, and it's very important and I'm by no means dismissing mindset, but what you're talking about and what you help people with is the real fundamentals of mindset in the sense that it's actually literally changing your mind because that does take you to that next level, but it is required for you to get there and stay there because we can so easily get like, Woo hoo, here I go, I'm leveling and then crash bang.
00:07:44:12 - 00:07:57:16
Speaker 1
You know, the limiting beliefs kick back in if we don't do the work of rewiring our brain. So let's talk about how that connection between limiting beliefs and creating lasting change actually happens.
00:07:58:03 - 00:08:30:27
Speaker 2
So your brain deletes, distorts and generalizes based on your beliefs. I'll say that again. You your brain deletes, distorts and generalizes based on your belief, which means that you're always winning the game you're playing. So if you're playing a game that serves you and is an empowering to you, yay, your beliefs are in line there. If you're playing a game that you don't want to play anymore, there's where you get to recognize that your brain is deleting to starting and generalizing based on what you believe about this.
00:08:31:06 - 00:08:53:09
Speaker 2
And here's a classic example. When we say I am like, these are some of the most powerful words in the universe, right? We think of that over and over again. Habitually it becomes a belief and I am an emotion and a habit like we. And you know what came first, the chicken or the egg happened so quickly when we do that.
00:08:53:24 - 00:09:23:10
Speaker 2
Now we can walk around saying I am and then insert disempowering statement and we win. I am overwhelmed now. There's no shame to feeling overwhelmed. We all can feel overwhelmed at times when we claim it as an identity. This is when we start winning again. We don't want to be playing anymore. This is when our brain to preserve energy and reserve energy, right?
00:09:23:10 - 00:09:45:09
Speaker 2
We'll go, Oh, yeah. Okay. Yes, let's prove that. Yes, yes. Just let you see all the lead to certain generalize based on this belief. One of them let you see the proof that you you are greater than this circumstance or this feeling of overwhelm and right. And so we're always winning the game we're playing now in the same way I am confident.
00:09:45:09 - 00:10:11:09
Speaker 2
I am a great time manager. I am a woman who can figure out ways to feel less overwhelmed. Right. Like we can start stair stepping those I am to to start bringing more in and then it starts to shift our filter. So that right then we can start to see other options available, other ways of being to show up.
00:10:12:09 - 00:10:31:12
Speaker 2
So that's where we start right there in that. What are the words that I'm saying? Because I'm thinking those things first, right? And am I are they stopping here at my thinking and in a belief, or am I are they coming out? And so then we look at those well, what came in my playing, who am I being?
00:10:32:11 - 00:10:51:26
Speaker 2
Because at the crux of this and we're going to get there, I know in a couple of different ways is our identity, habits and outcomes, dreams, goals like goals are great. Their name, their direction, their purpose. They're necessary right to move us in the direction we want. Outcomes even better. Where the rubber meets the road like this is the actual shit that happens.
00:10:51:26 - 00:11:19:05
Speaker 2
It's the results from what we did or didn't do. The magic is the identity. We don't want to drink one glass of water. We want to become water drinkers so that there's no question about whether or not we're getting a water because we're water drinkers. We're great time managers. We're insert here as opposed to drinking one glass of water.
00:11:19:05 - 00:11:24:22
Speaker 2
Right. That's a that's like a struggle, like a no. We want to rewire our brain in order to be the human who.
00:11:26:07 - 00:11:42:16
Speaker 1
I love that. And as I was listening to you and watching you, I. I hear that we you know, this is a lens that we're looking through. And sometimes the words that we're saying are like the glasses that we're looking through. But what you're saying is when we shift at the identity level, we're not just changing the glasses and the lens that we look through.
00:11:42:16 - 00:12:00:20
Speaker 1
We're actually changing the eyes that are doing looking like we're changing at that deep core level because we can begin to change how we see things by shifting our perspective. But if we are the same person, that's like I'm a struggling business owner and this is really hard and I don't know if I have what it takes and we're having those repetitive statements over and over.
00:12:00:29 - 00:12:04:14
Speaker 1
That's the game we're playing, right? Is that where you're exactly.
00:12:04:15 - 00:12:32:03
Speaker 2
Exactly 100%. And so being able to reframe like you're talking about and start tapping into, well, okay, I've got this limiting belief that I am a struggling business owner. The first question would be, is this a belief or is this a fact? Like because you very well may actually it may be a fact that you are struggling business owner and how do we shift this fact?
00:12:32:03 - 00:12:59:07
Speaker 2
Because the first reason that you're here is other beliefs about who you get to be, about what you deserve, about how hard business has to be. Right. Like so it's not about always. Oh, well, no. That's like you talked about a positive mindset. I'm about empowered and disempowered much, much more than negative and positive, because positive mindset sounds really like total spiritual bypassing, like all that, right?
00:12:59:11 - 00:13:02:25
Speaker 2
We're not we're not really paying attention to thing. We're just like, oh.
00:13:03:29 - 00:13:09:08
Speaker 1
You know, yeah, you're okay.
00:13:10:07 - 00:13:11:04
Speaker 2
So we know you're like.
00:13:11:15 - 00:13:12:23
Speaker 1
This is protocol.
00:13:13:29 - 00:13:39:11
Speaker 2
Exactly. And so that's always the first question. Like, is this a is this a belief or is this a fact? And and another thing then that we do is we give meaning without realizing it. We do this so quickly and then that's how we interpret a situation. So someone cuts you off in traffic, jerk. We like like honk the horn, you know, give gestures, all the things.
00:13:39:11 - 00:14:05:11
Speaker 2
Right. Okay. So is it a fact that that person is a jerk? Like, first of all, does this meaning serve me? We can ask ourselves that. Is that an empowered meaning for me that this person who cut me off is a jerk? Or could I could I expand a little bit on that and say, well, maybe X, Y, Z, maybe that maybe there's a kid crying in the backseat, maybe they just got a bad phone call, maybe they had a long day, maybe.
00:14:05:11 - 00:14:29:03
Speaker 2
And then we get to go, I've cut people off before, but I'm not a jerk. Like I'm a pretty decent human, right? So we will decide something just like that and not even go back to that meaning that we gave it. So to talk about the struggling business owner somewhere along the line, they decided this has to be hard.
00:14:29:12 - 00:14:55:11
Speaker 2
I have to hustle 24 seven. I have. Right. They decided all these things without a second thought because y like what would make me go back to it if someone's not saying to me get curious or if I'm not to the point of Wow, does it really have to be this hard? What do I really need to be the struggling business owner like?
00:14:55:11 - 00:15:05:03
Speaker 2
Can I just have some feelings that a struggling business owner would have? Can I get rid of this identity? When they start to really get deeper into that, that's when all those things start to open up for us.
00:15:06:10 - 00:15:29:19
Speaker 1
Oh, I love. I know. Because there is no hard and fast rule to anything. Right. And it is that curiosity. And we talk about that a lot here about how this is, you know, from the perspective of the yoga practice and so many different wisdom traditions that it all starts with awareness. It really all starts with awareness. And so how can we start from that place of nonjudgmental awareness and then move to the next step, which is acceptance?
00:15:29:27 - 00:15:56:26
Speaker 1
And so what I'm hearing you say is that if something is feeling good and is aligned and you are seeing the outcomes in the results that are, you know, what you're seeking, then we accept that and we want to cultivate that and go forward. But if we're looking at the evidence externally and we're seeing a lot of frustration or heartbreak or disappointing launches or whatever it is or, you know, crickets on on social, then we can start to look at, okay, do I truly want to stay with this?
00:15:56:26 - 00:16:22:20
Speaker 1
Am I accepting this as my fate and as my reality or knowing that you at your core are a purposeful powerhouse and you can learn how to think on purpose, right? Which is one of the core pillars. You can begin to create a different story for yourself, but ultimately creating that internal shift. And so I love that that's a huge part of the work that you're doing and what you're sharing with us today.
00:16:22:20 - 00:16:33:16
Speaker 1
And so what about what helps people to fast track to get to? Because, you know, we're all about the awareness and the acceptance, but like let's talk about how we can make some shifts.
00:16:35:10 - 00:17:06:23
Speaker 2
So your brain doesn't know the difference between real and imagined. Does everyone know that your brain does not know the difference between real and imagined? This is where visualization can. And when I see visualization, it's hearing, smelling, tasting, feeling internally, externally, seeing however you want to claim that whatever is best for you because not everyone is a good seeing visualizer, but they can feel it or they can smell it or they can hear it, right?
00:17:07:01 - 00:17:12:27
Speaker 2
So know that any of those are amazing because your subconscious thinks and pictures and sounds and feelings.
00:17:13:06 - 00:17:28:08
Speaker 1
Can I interrupt you for a hot second? Because I think there'll be something really cool that I I'm guessing that you do when you do this part of the conversation, correct me if I'm wrong to give people a real experience of this if they're kind of skeptical because, you know, we like the analytical brains, but sometimes we like evidence.
00:17:28:26 - 00:17:31:22
Speaker 1
Do you ever teach people about the lemon exercise?
00:17:31:28 - 00:17:33:00
Speaker 2
Absolutely.
00:17:33:13 - 00:17:38:04
Speaker 1
We do that, as you said, that I was like, oh, I hope she does it. I want to get to do it. So can you.
00:17:38:18 - 00:17:59:22
Speaker 2
Do this in in hypnosis? Like when I I'm a certified hypnotherapist. And so before a session, I always do this. And then what we say is this proves you. What an amazing candidate you are for hypnosis, right? Like how awesome your brain is. So, okay, everybody close your eyes or dim them if it feels safer to do that.
00:18:00:03 - 00:18:27:00
Speaker 2
And what I'd like you to do is imagine yourself in your kitchen and you can feel your feet on the floor and all the familiar sounds and smells. And I'd like you to open your refrigerator door and you feel it tugged just a little bit. And that little tiny blast of cold air and the light goes on. And you notice for the first time this giant bowl of gorgeous, beautiful lemons in the refrigerator and like, you reach in and take one out.
00:18:27:00 - 00:18:56:26
Speaker 2
Wow. You can feel the weight of it. It's cold on your hand. Go ahead and close the refrigerator door. You turn around and there's the counter with the cutting board and a beautiful knife. As you set the lemon down, I'd like you to pick up the knife and cut the lemon in half and the two pieces pop open, and that citrus smell just bursts into the air and you see it squirt up and a little bit get on you, and I want you to set down the knife and pick up one of those halves of lemon.
00:18:56:26 - 00:19:16:05
Speaker 2
And as you do, it squirts again and the juices running down your hand. And you already know what this lemon is going to taste like, and you're only holding it in your hand. Now, I want you to go ahead and set it back down and pick up that knife again. Oh, now, now it's sticky. Now you can feel on the handle that it's going to cut that lemon in half one more time.
00:19:16:15 - 00:19:41:15
Speaker 2
So the two quarters pop there. I'd like you to reach down and pick one of those up as you do it. Scorch again, that citrus fragrance is just gorgeous. Filling the air, the juices running down your arm. You are seeing the gorgeous yellow, right? And then the white and then the yellow meat of the lemon. And I want you to take a big, juicy bite now.
00:19:41:15 - 00:20:11:13
Speaker 2
For most people, they heard sa felt smelled something and 11 oh for probably 98% of the population this is your brain doesn't know the difference between real and imagined and this is your neurotransmitters. This is the mind body connection that your body is a robot for your mind. So if you can see it or hear it or taste or smell it, you can tell your body where in it.
00:20:14:04 - 00:20:37:15
Speaker 1
Is your mouth totally salivating right now. Everybody make sure you take a screenshot and let us know how effective that was. I know that. And so when I saw it, I was ready. My mouth was like, But how cool is that? That's why there's such a such a huge movement around visualization for top notch, high caliber athletes. They do this.
00:20:37:23 - 00:21:09:03
Speaker 1
There's amazing studies that show brain development. Even if you're just mentally performing, there's an opportunity for us to use our mind in a really powerful, beneficial way, rather than using our imagination for the old worst case scenario that we are all maybe. Well, good practice. Let's use your mind. I love that you're really speaking to that creativity and that's something that you know, as adults and serious business owners, not not that any of you are that identity.
00:21:09:10 - 00:21:36:02
Speaker 1
But how can we be more playful? How can we be more curious? How can you use your imagination? Right. And that's such an untapped possibility. Like, then we could help. We can totally derail this conversation and talk all about like quantum physics and the vastness of limitless potentiality. But we'll save that for another day. But let's just talk like just for a second of that, how good it feels to be in that creative possibility space.
00:21:36:17 - 00:21:38:06
Speaker 2
And that is so impactful.
00:21:38:06 - 00:21:57:08
Speaker 1
Like Mindy, I'm sure, can share all sorts of research and science behind. And she said already, what's happening in your brain? You experience that when you're celebrating like you're about to do a tequila shot after the lemon or whatever order you do that in. But like, really, can we become more intentional? And that's one of the pillars, right, is learning to think on purpose.
00:21:57:08 - 00:22:08:21
Speaker 1
And so using this tool of visualization and learning to begin to shift yourself at that deep core level of the identity of your mind that's so incredibly powerful. So thank you for that. That was fun.
00:22:09:11 - 00:22:35:29
Speaker 2
Yeah. And and you to move that to the second phase is mental rehearsal. So I say visualization, but we're going to do like visualize on steroids because we are going to tap into what Olympic gold medal athletes use. And that is the mental rehearsal. And you can start with something simple. Who do you want to be? You want to be a water drinker?
00:22:36:02 - 00:22:57:04
Speaker 2
What outcome do you want? The the the biggest deal about it is what is the outcome that you want? Know where you want to go, right? So okay, it's the end of the day. And I want to have consumed eight, eight ounce glasses of water a day. So we see this in our minds. We hear it, we taste it, we feel it, we smell it like know it with all your being.
00:22:57:13 - 00:23:13:24
Speaker 2
So I might see myself wake up first thing in the morning and have a glass of water next to the bed. Boom. There's my first water. And then I see a sticky note on my computer that says, Hey, babe, stay hydrated. Right? And then I hear a timer go off on my phone that says, Have you had another glass of water yet?
00:23:14:00 - 00:23:32:28
Speaker 2
And I have fun glasses that I'm drinking the water out of. And I'm saying to myself, Oh, I'm so dehydrated, queen, and my skin looks so good. And helping my brain and bring all the things into it. What am I feeling internally and externally? And truth be told, if when you first start drinking a lot of extra water, you'll also spend faster.
00:23:33:12 - 00:23:38:05
Speaker 1
So that because that means you're looking more and you're not sitting in your chair for as long. So when you're in, when.
00:23:39:22 - 00:24:03:05
Speaker 2
You bring more exactly. So you can take 10 seconds, 20 seconds and mentally rehearse that for yourself. Here's a couple of things that happened. Number one, your brain doesn't know the difference between real and imagine. Again, remember. And so your brain's like, Oh, yeah, we could do that. And then you get to the end and you show up actually in the thing and your brain's like, Oh, we've been here.
00:24:03:16 - 00:24:23:28
Speaker 2
We can drink water. We're water drinkers. We set the timer, we have fun glasses, we make a dance out of it, we do whatever, right? Like this is you tapping in to that whatever it takes to become the human that you want to become in an empowered way, right? Like it. Whatever it takes to drink more water, get it.
00:24:23:29 - 00:24:49:28
Speaker 2
Get an accountability partner. Get water all over the house. Like what? Whatever it looks like. So the magic in that is tapping into your, of course, energy first. So of course energy, right? There's a difference between wanting energy and having energy, wanting is wishy hopey disbelief energy. Oh, I wish I hope I really want this to happen. But when we're in our having energy are of course energy.
00:24:49:28 - 00:25:10:03
Speaker 2
We're like, of course, of course, of course. I'm going to drink this water. Of course. So find some, of course energy. And it sounds like Meghan a court. Some of course energy for you would be of course, I move my body daily like this. This is an of course, energy for me. Absolutely. Like movement is huge for me.
00:25:10:12 - 00:25:31:07
Speaker 2
Of course, I move my body daily. We can get, like, more granular than that. Of course, I brush my teeth. We, of course, energy. We just want a neutral or positive, not not anything that's disempowering for you, right? Neutral or moving you forward. Energy. So of course I kiss my kids goodnight. Of course I put the dog like find your of course energy please.
00:25:31:07 - 00:25:53:16
Speaker 2
It doesn't need to be overthought. Call it in. So of course I brush my teeth every morning. Like almost immediately when I wake up in the morning, I call that in. Now I copy and paste that. Of course that already having energy, already knowing who I am. On to my mental rehearsal now I'm copying, pasting that on to seeing myself.
00:25:53:18 - 00:26:20:21
Speaker 2
It's the end of the day, my legs are kicked up and I'm like, Look at me. I drink a glass of water today. That is the simplest way to begin to rewire your brain is to start practicing rewiring your brain and allowing your filtered shift to delete, distort and generalize based on believing that you can on the new things that you want to accomplish.
00:26:20:21 - 00:26:47:03
Speaker 1
I love that and I love the because sometimes where we're seeking evidence for possibility and if it's something that's a bit of a stretch for you, it might. You know, of course, our brain wants to kick in with all sorts of refuting, etc., etc.. But when you're able to tap into that, of course, energy about other things, what you're doing there is, as you were saying, copying, pacing.
00:26:47:03 - 00:27:06:16
Speaker 1
But you're you're allowing that transfer of belief and you're allowing that transfer of energetic frequency, because we know that that's what everything is. It's all based on our energy. And so if we can take that believability, because sometimes I know for me, if it's been too big of a stretch, there's always those like, Yeah, but is that really going to happen for you?
00:27:06:20 - 00:27:23:02
Speaker 1
Sort of nonsense. That happens in the background. So if you're able to take on and just feel that right, because that's what this is, it's giving your brain the visual, but giving your body and your heart that that physical experience, that embodiment of it in the moment of yeah, of course I'm a of course I'm a water drinker.
00:27:23:02 - 00:27:31:16
Speaker 1
Of course I'm an international bestseller, whatever it is. Right. Exactly. Yeah. That's what I was putting my, of course, energy on, just so you know.
00:27:31:16 - 00:27:34:01
Speaker 2
I love it.
00:27:34:01 - 00:27:54:09
Speaker 1
Oh, I love those. Okay. And I really that was those are some really potent tools and ideas that we can take away. And so I know that you have lots of and clearly lots of fun and very doable tools and techniques for everybody, as well as opportunities to connect with you. So I know you have a little gift for everyone.
00:27:54:09 - 00:27:56:08
Speaker 1
Will you tell us about that, please?
00:27:56:08 - 00:28:18:25
Speaker 2
Yes, that is a guided mental rehearsal, what we just talked about. So I will walk you through the only requirement for you is what do I want the outcome to be, to have a well-formed outcome. Right. So it could be you want to. I always meant I mentally rehearse everything now, like it's just automatic for me. Always mentally rehearse the podcast.
00:28:18:25 - 00:28:48:21
Speaker 2
I see the end and everything has gone amazing. I'm right like it's going to be great. I highly recommend everyone go out and Google Michael Phelps and his mental rehearsals because he's next level. I'm teaching level mental rehearsal where you go from A to B and everything works right. Once you start mentally rehearsing even more, you'll learn to go, Oh, even if this shitty committee pops up, I'm good.
00:28:48:22 - 00:29:10:16
Speaker 2
I have a plan to still make the army right. And so I always do a podcast and like mentally rehearse it. And no matter what happens, technical difficulties, anything like that. Like by the end it was amazing. Everybody needed to hear, got to hear exactly what they needed. And it's your most downloaded episode ever. Like, that's always my intention.
00:29:11:03 - 00:29:14:02
Speaker 1
At the end of a podcast.
00:29:14:02 - 00:29:27:18
Speaker 2
And so I have a guided one just for you to walk you through it, and then you get like videos with it that also say, okay, here's how to use your, of course energy, here's how to do this. So you're really supported the whole way through when you're learning this practice.
00:29:28:05 - 00:29:49:17
Speaker 1
Oh, thank you. I'm totally going to use that. Thank you. I appreciate that. So make sure to grab that the link is in the show notes and make sure to after you've done it or even now, because I'm sure there's already like Ping, ping pong, little light bulbs or little electrodes popping off in your head right now. Take a screenshot and make sure to tag us on socials.
00:29:49:17 - 00:29:52:12
Speaker 1
So tell us, where are you on Instagram and.
00:29:52:12 - 00:30:03:27
Speaker 2
We all I'm I'm my name. You can find me everywhere. Mindy Huebner like that. I'm on all the socials that way. Yes. And I, I like Instagram, I hang out there and tik TikTok so.
00:30:04:04 - 00:30:27:17
Speaker 1
Okay, cool. You're one of the lucky ones. I would. I really want to be able to get my name and have it be consistent all around. But some people got ahead of me, but I'm glad that you got yours. That's awesome. So make sure to tag us and follow Mindy as well. And so as we wrap up, there's one question that I like to ask everybody as we stabilize for the day, what does it mean to you to be a purposeful powerhouse?
00:30:28:18 - 00:31:13:29
Speaker 2
Yeah, I love this question. It really means not toning myself down or dialing back my intensity or my passion. I have experienced pushback on that for many years in my life and I just won't do it like I just want to dial back me for other people. So that's definitely part of it. It means also like doing my part to change the world with my magic and my gifts, the things that only I can do that I was created to do and have tapped into and refined those things.
00:31:13:29 - 00:31:25:13
Speaker 2
And I think finally that really looks like consistent growth. Like consistent growth is how we continue to just be powerful.
00:31:26:18 - 00:31:53:20
Speaker 1
Mm Yeah. What a beautiful answer. I love that. I love that. Yes. Living vibrantly, fully express authentically like sharing your magic, all the good things, all the good things. Absolutely. And so thank you for sharing your magic today with us. I mean, it's been really fun to chat with you and thank you, everybody. Make sure to like and subscribe and take some screenshots and share because this is powerful stuff, right?
00:31:53:29 - 00:32:03:21
Speaker 1
And it is absolutely foundational. And I, of course, I know many are probably going to agree with me. We want you living in that, of course, that easy, right. Because hello, it feels good.
00:32:04:06 - 00:32:13:01
Speaker 2
I just got tingly. I'm like, because we want you and you. Of course energy like this is the it's done energy. It is done right.
00:32:13:18 - 00:32:36:22
Speaker 1
Mhm. Oh yeah. Okay. So when you take your screenshot clean what it is, what is done for you. So make sure that because we want to celebrate you because all the celebration, all of the gold stars, because you deserve all of them. And so have an amazing rest of your day, evening, whatever time it is for you. And thank you for being part of this incredible community.
00:32:36:22 - 00:32:54:22
Speaker 1
And thank you, thank you. Thank you for living and moving and breathing and showing up on purpose as a purposeful powerhouse that your beautiful self is so until next time, take care and have an amazing rest of your day by everybody.
